how to port with an expired or numberless SIM

numberless SIM:

SMS the serial number (printed on the SIM card) to 084PORT2US. (084 767 8287). The SMS should read: #portme#serial number#


expired pack:

Follow the standard SMS porting process and SMS the cellphone number reflected on the pack. Our back end system will pick up that this is an expired pack and will do the port manually via our Contact Centre. You will be called on the current cellphone number from which you are porting.

manual porting:

Call our Contact Centre on 084 140 from your current SIM card for assistance. You will be guided through a quick and easy activation process.

how to port with a numbered SIM

step 1:

Buy a hola 7 or easychat starter pack and do NOT open it.

step 2:

Using your current SIM, SMS #portme#serial number# of your new Cell C starter pack to 084PORT2US.

step 3:

Get an SMS on your current SIM with a reference number.

step 4:

Get an approval SMS and follow instructions.
