what is a driver?
A driver is a piece of software that allows Microsoft Windows or any other operating system to communicate with the hardware device on your laptop or PC. Most hardware devices such as video cards, sound cards and modems all require drivers to function correctly with Windows.

USB Modem -
1. Open the Cell C USB Modem application
2. Click on the 'help' button or click 'more' button
3. Click on the about menu
Version 1.0.0.1709 - please install the latest USB modem driver for your operating system.
Version 1.0.0.71 - you have the latest USB modem driver for your operating system.
Data Card Driver -
1. Open the Cell C Mobilink network connection manager
2. Click on the 'more' button (button with three stripes)
3. Click on the about menu
Version 2.02.01.39 - you have the latest Data Card driver for your operating system.
Other versions - please install the latest Data Card driver for your operating system.

How do I download the latest drivers?
1. Identify if you want to download Cell C USB modem drivers or Cell C Data Card drivers.
2. Identify your operating system.
3. Select the file and choose save. Save the file to a folder of your choice.
4. Once the download has been completed, remove your USB Modem or Data Card from your notebook or PC.
5. Uninstall the existing software by clicking on Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs
6. Remove the old Cell C modem or Data Card application.
7. Select the folder where you have saved the file and unzip the file to the same folder. This can be done by "right clicking" on the file and select extract all. Or click on the .exe file and begin installation.
8. Re-install the Cell C USB modem or Data Card application.
9. Re-insert the Cell C USB modem or Data Card into the notebook or PC.
10. Open the Cell C application
11. Click on the connect button and one the connection has been established enjoy your session.
