Death is hereditary – your handset doesn’t have to be!
If you’re tired of your old handset, or your Cell C contract is nearing its end, you have the option of extending your Cell C contract and upgrading your phone with Cell C for an additional 12 or 24 months period.
Wanna know if you qualify? If you are in month 10 of the 12 month or month 21 of the 24 month contract, you better rush to your nearest service provider for a funky new phone.
Your account must be up-to-date with no defaults in the last 3 months unless the defaults are due to no fault on your part.
Your number must have been active (made a billable voice or data call/SMS) in the last 3 months prior to the application.
The person who signed the original Subscriber Agreement Form is the only person who can sign the Upgrade Addendum form.
You must produce proof of identity at the time of the application or confirm sale by reading the declaration.
You are entitled to any upgrade offer available at Cell C pertaining to your tariff plan at the time.
All Cell C service providers must ensure that before you leave the store, they need to test the handset and ensure a call is made to your new handset.
You may migrate to a higher tariff plan and take advantage of the prevailing handset deal.
Should you wish to migrate downwards, the downward fee will be waived due to re-signing of a 12 or 24 month contract.
Important: The remaining months of the existing contract must be completed before the new contract starts.
All corporate customers must complete one addendum accompanied by a company letter head with a list of all the contact details that require a contract renewal, signed by an authorised signatory.
