Before you can start chatting with your Friends & Family discount, you have to activate this service by doing the following:

With our Friends & Family discount you can talk to your loved ones for a lot less by paying a fixed discounted rate to your seven most frequently dialled numbers. You can choose any mobile or fixed national number, except special numbers like premium, shared or international numbers to be your Friends & Family numbers. But if you choose other Cell C numbers for your Friends and Family list you will pay even less when you call them!

With Cell C’s new Friends and Family service you can now select not 4 but 7 of your most frequently dialled numbers to receive our discounted Friends and Family rates. So you will be saving money every time you call your mum, best friend, boyfriend…

Plus if you select another Cell C number to be on your Friends and Family list you will be paying the lowest mobile rate in South Africa when you call them - 75c per minute off peak and R1.50 per minute during peak times.

Step 1:

Register your details at any Cell C store or participating outlet that sells Cell C.


Step 2:

Insert your SIM card into your cellphone and your cellphone number will be SMS‘d to you.
